Matt is a co-founder and board member of Storage Star and the founder and CEO of FollettUSA, a privately held national real estate company focused on acquiring, developing, and operating best-in-class manufactured housing communities and self-storage facilities. Over his 36-year career in commercial real estate, Matt has built a track record of adding significant value to acquired properties. He previously founded and led Inspire Communities, a leading owner-operator of manufactured housing communities acquired by Apollo Global Management in 2017, and founded Follett Investment Properties in 1989. Matt holds a BS in Economics from the University of Utah. He and his wife have five children, and his pursuits include skiing, hiking, cycling, golf, and travel.
