Alex sources, underwrites, and executes new self-storage investments and developments across the United States, specializing in deal structuring, financial analysis, entitlements, and risk management. He also leads Storage Star’s efforts in deploying AI and data analytics for acquisitions. Before Storage Star, Alex worked on the Real Estate Development & Investment team at Trammell Crow Company and began his career at Applied Predictive Technologies, where he helped launch the firm’s European headquarters in Lisbon. Alex holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a BS in Economics from Duke University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He lives in San Francisco and is an avid sailor, music enthusiast, and aspiring golfer.
